My 12th Birthday (Oct. 2, 2011)!

Like the title says, today (Oct. 2, 2011) is my

12th birthday! : 3 ! Not only will I celebrate

my birthday at home with my family members but

also here in Blog Kawaii by posting 1 special

post for each and every post category

(Ok, I know I've posted this already months
ago, but since it's my 1st favorite anime, I've
decided that I would include this in my "12th birthday special"
posts XD)

I would like to share something
to those who don't know
the anime "Blue Exorcist" yet.
Like the title says, the title of the anime
is Blue Exorcist / Ao no Exorcist.
I heard from my best friend & suggests that I should
watch the anime too, I did & it's so freaking awesome XD.
I started watching the anime last Aug.13, 2011.
It's first episode's original airdate was on
April 17, 2011, so that means that the anime is new.
I totally love the anime very much!
I love it's opening "Core Pride" which is sung by a
Japanese rock band, Uverworld. It is the opening theme
is for episodes 1 - 12. You should watch to it too~ <3:

The story revolves arround Rin Okumura, a teenager posessing abnormal strength and endurance who was raised by Father Shiro Fujimoto along his younger twin brother Yukio. Soon after Yukio departs to study at the prestigious True Cross Academy, Rin learns that both him and his brother are sons of Satan, the most powerful of all demons. Witnessing Shiro dying to protect him, Rin ends up doing what his guardian asked him to never do, draw the demon-slaying blade Kurikara that restrains his demonic powers, from its scabbard. From that moment on, Rin not only gains permanent demonic features like fangs, pointed ears and a tail, but also the power to ignite himself into blue flames that can destroy anything it touches.

On Shiro's funeral, Rin has an encounter with Mephisto Pheles, who agrees to his wish to become an Exorcist like his guardian were to take revenge on Satan himself, and enrolls him at the True Cross Academy, which is actually the Japanese branch of an international organization dedicated to protect the human realm, Assiah, from demons and other creatures from the demon realm, Gehenna. Rin takes part on the special Exorcist course only known by a few and much to his surprise, he finds that his brother Yukio is already a veteran Exorcist and will be one of his teachers.

Rin Okumura (奥村燐 Okumura Rin^?): Voiced by: Nobuhiko Okamoto; The fifteen-year-old protagonist of the story, Rin is the son of Satan born from a human woman and is the inheritor of Satan's powers. His powers were sealed at birth into the demon-slaying blade Kurikara, or Koumaken, by Shiro Fujimoto, allowing him to live a normal human life for about 15 years. Rin became aware of his true identity after Kurikara could no longer seal the blue flames he inherited from Satan, setting off a chain of events that led to the death of his guardian, Father and Exorcist Fujimoto Shiro, at the hands of Satan, who attempted to drag Rin back to the demon realm. Exorcist Mephisto Pheles confronted Rin after Shiro's funeral with several exorcists, giving Rin the option to kill them all or die. Rin instead demanded to become an exorcist, an idea that amused Mephisto. Rin was then enrolled personally by Mephisto into the True Cross Academy Exorcist School, where he has since been pursuing his goal to become a Paladin and to defeat Satan. He is currently an Exwire and attempting to gain the title of Meister as a "Knight".

Rin can access the power he has inherited from Satan through the use of a demon-slaying katana, called Kurikara or Koumaken. The sheath acts as a portal to Gehenna (the demon world) which, when the blade is drawn, returns Rin to his demon form. While in his human form, Rin exhibits a number of physical traits that are signs of his demonic nature, such as sharp canines, slightly pointed ears, and a black, fur-tufted tail (which he keeps hidden in his pants). In his demon form, Rin has blue flames that float above his head, long elf-like ears, and glowing blue eyes. In both forms Rin can control incredibly destructive bright blue flames, the trademark sign of anything related to Satan. However, when he draws Kurikara, the magnitude of the flames dramatically increases and often leads to Rin being "consumed" by his own flames and losing his mind. Rin also has a Cat Sith, Kuro, who was initially Father Fujimoto's, as his familiar. Rin has been shown to have a talent for cooking, notably due to the fact that he had started cooking at a young age.

Yukio Okumura (奥村雪男 Okumura Yukio^?): Voiced by: Jun Fukuyama; Rin's younger twin brother. When it was discovered that the woman impregnated by Satan was going to have twins, it was believed that Satan's powers would be split between them. Due to the weakness of Yukio's body, however, he did not inherit any of Satan's powers, thus being born fully human with the full extent of Satan's powers going to Rin. Yukio did, however, receive a spirit wound at birth from his brother, which allowed him to be aware of demons for as long as he can remember. Yukio secretly trained to become an Exorcist from the age of seven in order to protect Rin (through the help of Fujimoto). While both Yukio and Rin are in their first year at True Cross Academy, Yukio is already an instructor at the Exorcist cram school, who teaches Anti-Demon Pharmacology to Rin's class.

It is often stated that Yukio is a genius, having already acquired the title "Meister" in both the Dragoon and Doctor class, while ordinarily most people would aim for Meister in only one class (both are still fully qualified exorcists). He is currently ranked a Middle First class exorcist. Even though he and Rin argue a lot and usually come to disagreements he truly cares about his safety and well being. Fearing his brother will be consumed by his demonic nature, Yukio often berates Rin for his impulsive actions and reckless attitude.

Seeing his guardian taking his own life to protect him, Rin decides to fight back by unlocking his demonic powers, even though he knows that by doing so he will not be able to live as a human anymore.

Koko Ni Iru Yo! Vol.01 Ch.001: Sunflower And The Sun at MangaFox.com

I bought an Otakuzine No. 55(anime magazine)

at the mall months ago, where the anime, "Fairytail",

is on the cover. In this certain page, I saw the title,

"Koko Ni Iru Yo!", I looked at the pictures, looks

cute! I started reading the content, wow, it

amazed me! The next day, maybe, I searched

for "Koko Ni Iru Yo!" on the internet, hoping I could

just read the manga there. I read all the volumes

(5 volumes to be exact) on Mangafox.

Hikage is a reclusive 8th grader who no one seems

to notice. She finds comfort by planting a sunflower at school

and in her blog, with only 2 people who comment on it, MegaPIG

and Black Rabbit. They listen and give Hikage advice on everything.

But, everything changes one day when 2 cute boys notice her.

These boys are the most popular kids in the entire school, Teru

and Hinata. When 1 of them tells her something that she's always

wanted to hear, she might change to be like her classmates..

Will she be loved by everyone in the class?

Hikage Sumino (隅乃ひかげ Sumino Hikage^?): Hikage has brown hair and blue eyes, and is a shy, plain 8th grader. The only friends she has at the beginning of the series are the people who visit her blog. They are "MegaPIG" and "Black Rabbit". Ever since she was little she has never been noticed (she appears to be practically invisible in her class) as we see in a game of hide and seek. She doesn't seem to know that Teru is Black Rabbit in her blog until later on when he tells her the whole truth about him being Black Rabbit. She later starts to date Hinata in the final volume. -

Hinata Mutō (武藤日向 Mutō Hinata^?): A popular boy who likes Hikage. He is considered to be more serious than Teru, and ranks high in exams. He is also on the Kendo team. Hinata states he has always been watching Hikage since the very start of the year and tells her about how he felt when he first saw her. He felt jealous when Hikage started talking about her friends in the blog, Black Rabbit and MegaPIG. In chapter 13, it's revealed when Hinata was a child he used to be a lonely person, Later he said if Teru was like a Black rabbit (Populars against the white, but actually just a lonely rabbit). He warns Teru that he will not lose Hikage and he doesn't want to be Teru's love rival. -

Teru Mikami (三上輝 Mikami Teru^?) (The one on the left, ofcourse XD): Another of Hinata's friends, who is also popular. Known for his jokes and charming personality. Teru speaks bluntly and seems to care for Hikage. He always cares about Hikage's change and supports her in her blog. After when Hikage and Hinata got together, Teru said goodbye to Hikage in her blog because he felt that Sumino no longer needs him since she already has Hinata by her side. Later on, Teru tells Hikage that he is Black Rabbit. When he was a child he never had a true friend until Hinata who compared him to a lonely black rabbit. His parents had fought very much and believed it was his fault the marriage didn't work out. He is currently the love rival of Hinata. He later gives up on Hikage and tries to support the relationship between her and Hinata. -

Aoi Nanjō (南条葵 Nanjō Aoi^?): A guy who is under the alias as MegaPIG in Hikage's blog. He speaks in a Kansai accent. Even though he says if he was 200 kg, in truth he isn't. He just afraid of telling Hikage about his real appearance. Appears in a one-shot following the conclusion of the manga. -

Arisa Tanaka (田中ありさ Tanaka Arisa^?): The first girl in Hikage's class to greet her. In school she was the first to warm up to Hikage. Even though her test scores are bad, she worked hard to see the fireworks with Hikage. "Suminon" is the name she calls Hikage by, as adding an n to the end of someone's name in Japanese culture is a form of friendly affection.
