(Ghost Story)

Several years have passed yet the memory of my encounter with the unknown is still fresh in my mind. I can still recall every detail.
It was year 2004 or 2005; I was 11 years old. Well I used to believe in supernatural creatures but I didn't expect to have an encounter with them. During that time I, together with my friends; we're very curious weather supernatural's really exists. We used to share our stories about ghost, something like white ladies, kapre, aswang, duwende, engkanto... You know those things which we used to hear from the elders... And maybe because of curiosity, our young minds were triggered to believe them even though we haven't seen them yet.
My first encounter with the unknown happened in our house in San Jose Del Monte Bulacan... That time there were lots of TV series which I liked to watch. It happened that when my father came home drunk he got mad because we were watching a particular show and he demanded to change the channel but we didn't oblige to his order, all of the sudden he went to the kitchen get a hammer from his tool box and without saying a thing he hit the television monitor and that's when we end up watching TV in our neighbor's house.
There were lots of cool TV series back then aired by the two biggest networks in the country. Of course I, together with my siblings haven't missed the chance to watch them everyday and so we usually used to stay late outside just to watch all of them.
It happened Monday at about 10:00-11:00 in the evening my mother was nagging because our water meter was still on, she was asking someone to turn it off but my brother and sisters were just neglecting my her order, then she warned us..." do not let me repeat my words, the second time I say it you'll be punished".
After wards my siblings started to point finger to each other, seems like nobody wants to follow. Because I am the youngest one, I was so afraid that my mom might hit all of us and I really hate the thought of it, so I decided to go up and turn off the water meter.
When I was already there where our meter was, I wasn't able to see anyone. There were just a dim light coming from the few vehicles passing by. I could feel the cool air brushing my skin... It was so cold and all of the sudden I had goose bumps. Then I decided to get rid of the obligation and started quickly to get back home. I really felt uneasy being alone outside. My mind started to create things which made my hair rise.
I was on my way back when I saw something in front of the Mother Mary child care Center, it was a nursery school nearby the big white house located in the vacant lot where we used to play.
I smiled because I came up with the conclusion that somehow someone was tricking. Then I decided to take a closer look weather the one I saw was a girl or a boy... So I went closer to the area where I saw it. To my surprise I've seen a lady in white dress; she was staring straight at me. I could clearly see the blood drenching on her body... Her long curly hair made her face creepy. I notice d that she was about 6 inches elevated from the ground. You know the feeling when you're being stuck and held still? I felt my whole body freeze; I couldn't move or even shout. The worse thing was that the lady in white was approaching even more closely. That is when I whisper "oh God help me get through this" then after wards I run as fast as I could. During that moment I was not thinking of anything but to get out of that barren place. I run as if 10 lions were after me, ready to bite me and tear me into pieces.
When I hit the door of our house I gone straight to bed without saying a thing. Covered my body with my blanket and slept. I could feel my body chilling; I was near to crying because of fear. But I was relieved at the same time because at least I have gone through that moment.
The following day I told the whole story to my brother and sisters... They were shocked, at first and they didn't seem to believe me but still they end up convinced... I told my experience to my friend as well... Good thing they believed me right away...
A month after the incident, one of my friends experienced the same thing... She saw the lady in white inside their house which is located at the back of the nursery school... And I believed her because she described the same thing...
According to the people who had been staying in that place for a long time, that woman was hit by a bus and had been fatally injured... But because the driver was afraid to spend a lot of money and might end up in jail after the due court trial he then just let the woman died and throws her corpse in the vacant lot where the lady in white used to appear... She might be seeking justice that had been buried in a long period of time...
It was not in my system to become clairvoyant and I never expect to see creatures which are beyond the imagination of normal persons... Yet it still occurs sometimes... From that day onward I started to feel something that cannot be explain by other people and see something that cannot be seen by others... Now whenever I feel something or someone that cannot be seen by our naked eye I don't react the way I reacted during my first encounter... I think, I've finally learned to live with it...
Maybe these things are meant to happen or maybe the encounter with the supernatural creatures has a certain explanation...

(Ghost Story)
I was a freshman in college when this crazy thing happened.

One afternoon, I was in my Algebra class when I felt the
need to use the restroom after drinking too much iced tea
during our lunch break. I was literally dashing through
the hallway to get to the restroom. Even when I was in a hurry,
I clearly remember that there was no one inside the rest room.
All the cubicles were empty. So after I was done I went to
the sink to wash my hands and that's when I heard a voice
from one of the cubicles. I thought that was odd because
I didn't hear her enter the room. She was asking,
"Meron bang tao diyan?" (Is anyone there?).
Then I asked her what's the problem and she
told me she can't get out, the cubicle door was stuck.

The voice was coming from inside the furthest
cubicle so I went there. I was already nudging the
door when she said, "Patulak naman ng pinto, bilis
late na kasi ako, may klase pa ko." (Can you please push
the door, hurry up I'm late for my class). I irritably said,
"Oo, eto na nga."  (Okay, I'm already trying) because
I was already prying it open. I tried hard, I did, but it
wouldn't budge. I told her to make sure that the door is
off the latch. Silence. Then she started banging the door.
I thought, oh boy, she's really in a hurry to get out. Then
the banging stopped. I felt a trickle of sweat roll down my
forehead and I was like, okay fine, that's it, I'm
going to break this ugly thing. So I asked her to move farther
back because I'm going to kick the freaking door and I
don't want her to get hurt. She didn't respond. I
kicked the door anyway.

I kicked the door and it swung open. I was
in for the surprise of my life. There's no girl. No one
was there. I was staring at the empty cubicle I was
shocked, my mind was in a daze. I heard
someone behind me said, "Anong nangyari,
anong nangyari sa pinto?" (What happened,
what happened to the door?). It was the janitress.
I told her I kicked it. She asked me why and my mind
went into a trance once again. After that, she never asked
again.

I was interrogated by the head of the maintenance department.
It turned out that I badly broke the flimsy door and the hinges
need replacements. I didn't want to sound stupid so I said I was
looking for my wallet, it's lame but it's all I could think of.
They didn't seem to believe my story
but they cut me loose anyway.

After I got out of the office I was heading towards
my friends when the janitress approached me. She
reminded me of the incident again, she said she heard
me talking to someone when she was near approaching
the rest room. I knew she didn't believe the wallet alibi.
She looked at me in a very weird way and said,
"Huwag mo nang sabihin sa iba, matatakot lang sila"
(Don't tell anyone, you'll just scare them)

I'll bet all the money in my real wallet, she knew.

(Ghost Story)

The River Girl is a strange story about a girl who is haunted
by the suspicious drowning death of her twin sister. I can't decide
whether this story belongs in the "creepy stories" section or the
"stupid stories" section. Leave a comment and let me know what you
think. Creepy or stupid? You decide.

Legend has it that there was a 16 year old girl named Carla who
was living in a mental hospital.  Carla was a smart, outgoing, pretty
girl and nobody could explain what a girl like her was doing in an insane
asylum. The only thing the doctors could find wrong with her was
that she never spoke. Her parents swore that the girl had always been
well-behaved and never had any problems until the
death of her twin sister, Natalia.

Natalia's dead body had been found floating in a river near their
home on July 17th. Nobody could explain what she had been
doing there or how she had drowned. It was all very
mysterious and suspicious. After much investigation, the
police eventually ruled it an accident, but
everybody in town still had questions. For one thing,
Natalia's body had been tied up underwater. Had
she tied herself or had somebody else tied her up and
murdered her by tossing her into the river to drown?

Ever since the death of her sister , Carla had been acting
in a very bizarre and erratic manner. Her parents would wake
up in the middle of the night and find Carla's bedroom empty.
They would always find her standing in her nightdress at the
bank of the river , holding a rope in her hands. She always
goes to the river at the exact time her sister's
body had been found-12:43 AM

Fearing that their strangely silent daughter was
planning to harm herself, the worried parents
had her confined in a mental hospital. They felt it
was for her own good. After Carla had spent ten
long months in the mental hospital, the doctors told
her parents that she was free to leave. They could take her home.
However, her parents refused because they said that the
anniversary of  Natalia's death was approaching and
they feared that their daughter would kill herself.
So Carla was confined in the mental hospital
indefinitely.

On July 17th, Carla's parents were at the
hospital visiting her. They watched her through a
small glass window in the metal door of her room.
Suddenly, Carla started going crazy, running all around
the room and bouncing of the walls. The doctors
rushed into the cell and wrestled her to the ground.

She kept screaming "Carla! Let go! No! Carla! Please!"

Finally, the doctors were forced to inject the poor girl with
sedatives. As her terrified parents watched, Carla
fell into an uneasy sleep.

"It was like she was possessed", said her mother.

After discussing it for a while, the parents decided to consult with a priest.

A few hours later, the local priest arrived. The parents told him the whole story-
how Carla's twin sister had drowned under mysterious circumstances,
how Carla had stopped talking immediately after Natalia's death, how she
had been screaming & shouting uncontrollably.

The priest examined Carla briefly and took the parents into a nearby
waiting room to talk to them.

"You're right", said the priest. "Your daughter, Carla, is indeed possessed.
And the evil spirit possessing her is none other than her dead sister, Natalia.
I suspect that Carla has been possessed ever since Natalia drowned in
that river. Natalia has been trying to kill Carla everyday since then."

Carla's parents were shocked. They began to cry.

"Wait a minute", said the priest. "What day is it today?"

He grabbed a newspaper. The date was July 17th,
the anniversary of Natalia's death.

"And what time is it?" yelled the priest.

He looked at the clock. It was 12:42. One minute before
Natalia's dead body had been discovered.

"We have just 1 minute to save your daughter's life", he yelled.

The priest and the parents ran to Carla's room. The door was
open and the room was empty.

"Where's Carla?" asked the priest.

"She's taking a bath", said doctor who happened
to be passing by.

The priest and the parents ran to the bathroom
and busted down the door. They were too late.

Carla was hanging over the bathtub. A rope was
wrapped around her neck and tied to the curtain rail.
Her eyes were bugged out, her face was purple and her head
was hanging at an odd  angle. There were little wet footprints
all over the bathroom floor. On the wall, written in blood
were the words: "You killed me and now you will die with me."

They say that Carla's parents never recovered from the unimaginable
sorrow of losing 2 daughters. Even now, ten years later, every night before
bed, the parents still stop outside their daughters' empty bedroom
and say "Goodnight, Carla! Goodnight, Natalia!"

And every night, at 12:43 AM, two ghostly girls can be
seen walking hand in hand, down by the river.
